  • You sell an ebook, course, coaching or a small product
  • You'd rather edit than design

Start from scratch if

  • Your brand has strict layouts

Short answer: Systeme.io offers a free library of "hundreds of ready-made funnel and website templates across 35 categories" [S2]. You can also pick a template every time you add a page to a funnel inside your account [S3][S4]. The free plan includes 3 sales funnels, 2,000 contacts and unlimited email sends, with no credit card [S1]. So you can launch a template-based funnel for $0.

Where the free templates live

There are two places to find them:

  1. Inside your account. When you add a step to a funnel, choose the page type, and Systeme.io shows templates for it. You can also start from scratch [S3][S4].
  2. The template library page. Systeme.io's library page asks for your email and sends you a link to the full library. It's listed as "Free. No card required" [S2].

The library covers categories including Coaching, Courses, Ebooks & Guides, Ecommerce, Newsletter, Webinar and Link in Bio, plus more [S2].

What's inside a template

Systeme.io describes its templates as "complete pages, not blank layouts," with structure, styling and placeholder content already in place [S2]. The library groups them as:

  • Opt-in and squeeze pages, with the form, headline and social-proof section already positioned [S2].
  • Sales and checkout pages, with pricing blocks, objection sections and testimonial slots [S2].
  • Full multi-step funnels, from opt-in to thank-you to upsell, "wired together as a sequence" [S2].

How to use a template, step by step

These steps follow Systeme.io's help articles [S3][S4]:

  1. Go to Sales funnels and click Create. Pick a funnel type, or Custom, and save [S4].
  2. Inside the funnel, click Add step, name the page and choose its type, such as Opt-in page [S3].
  3. Browse the templates and click Select on the one closest to your offer [S3].
  4. Click Edit page to open the drag-and-drop editor and replace the copy, images and buttons [S3].
  5. Repeat for the thank-you page and any sales page, then test the whole path on your phone before you share it.

Templates for creators vs online-store owners

Creators usually need two pages first: an opt-in page for a freebie and a thank-you page that delivers it. Templates in categories like Ebooks & Guides, Courses and Newsletter fit that pattern [S2].

Store owners can look at the Ecommerce category [S2]. Systeme.io lists physical products and shipping management among its e-commerce features [S1], so check the pricing page for what your plan includes before you build a full store on it.

Shared funnels: a template from someone else

Another Systeme.io user can send you a funnel share link. You log in, paste the link in your browser, and the funnel is added to your account [S5]. Systeme.io's own note says "sales funnel-sharing links are affiliate links" [S5]. That means the person who shared it may earn a commission if you later pay. That's fine, but good to know.

Free plan limits that affect templates

LimitFree planStartup ($17/mo)

The free plan "never expires and does not require a credit card" [S1]. The limit most people hit first is 3 funnels. So use one funnel per offer rather than one per page.

Before you publish: a 6-point template checklist

  1. Replace every placeholder. Templates arrive with placeholder content [S2]. Search the page for sample names, prices and testimonials, and delete any you can't back up with real ones.
  2. One page, one action. Keep a single button goal per page: join the list, or buy. Remove extra links the template added.
  3. Rewrite the headline for your reader. Say what they get and who it's for, in one line.
  4. Connect the form to a tag or list so each lead lands where your follow-up email expects it. The free plan's 1 automation rule [S1] is a good place to send the first welcome email.
  5. Add your legal links. A privacy note near the form and a contact or refund page for anything you sell.
  6. Test on a phone. Submit the form yourself, check the thank-you page, and confirm the email arrives.

Common mistakes with free templates

  • Using a funnel slot per page. A funnel holds several steps, so put the opt-in, thank-you and sales page in one funnel instead of three.
  • Keeping fake social proof. Placeholder testimonials make a page look finished, but publishing them misleads buyers.
  • Picking by looks, not by offer. Start from the category that matches what you sell [S2], then adjust colors. It's faster than reshaping a page built for a different offer.

Connect the funnel to your other tools

If your buyers or leads also need to land in a spreadsheet, CRM or store, Make.com can pass the data along. Its free plan includes 1,000 credits a month, with a 15-minute minimum interval between scheduled runs [M1].

Our take

This is based on Systeme.io's published pages as of Oct 12, 2026. Templates take the design work off your plate, and the free plan's 3 funnels are enough to test one freebie and one paid offer. Start with an opt-in template, swap in your own words, and publish. If you outgrow 3 funnels or 2,000 contacts, the Startup plan is the next step at $17/month [S1]. Ready to try it?
