How we test and check facts

UiSynce publishes practical guides to the software creators and small online-store owners use to build an audience and sell: email and newsletter tools, funnel builders, and automation. This page explains where our numbers come from and how to read them.

Our rules

  1. Prices, plans and features come from each tool's official pages, and every guide shows a "last checked" date.
  2. When we've only used a free plan, we say so.
  3. We note when a section is based on documentation rather than hands-on testing.
  4. We don't publish fake reviews, invented results, or made-up statistics.

Where the numbers come from

  • Plan limits and prices are taken from each tool's official pricing page or help center, and each guide lists those pages under Sources with the date we checked them.
  • Claims in a guide carry a small numbered marker, like [1], that points to the source it came from.
  • When two of a vendor's official pages disagree, we quote what each one says instead of picking one. Our Kit free plan guide is an example.
  • When we can't read a figure reliably, we link to the official page instead of quoting it. Make's paid-plan prices are an example.
  • When we work out an estimate ourselves, such as how many orders 1,000 Make credits cover, we label it as our own arithmetic.
  • If we haven't verified a tool's pricing yet, we leave it out. That's why n8n isn't in our Make vs Zapier comparison.

How to read a guide

  • Last checked at the top shows when the guide's facts were checked. If parts were checked on different days, it says so.
  • The verdict card repeats figures already in the guide. It doesn't add new ones.
  • Choose X if boxes summarize the guide's own recommendations.
  • Some sections describe a general flow from documentation rather than something we built ourselves, and we say so where that applies.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links. On pages that have them, a disclosure appears above the first affiliate link and says which tools it covers. Tools we're not an affiliate of, such as Kit, Zapier and Substack, get plain links. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the programs we've joined.

Corrections

Prices and limits change often. If you spot a figure that's out of date, email uisynce@gmail.com and tell us the page.
